Style is subjective and personal. Style can't be learned and it can't be taught. It comes naturally. Sometimes I just like the look of a pair of shoes, accessory, or dress without any real explanation. It just speaks to me and might not be what's trendy or "in-style," but is what I enjoy wearing.

When did you discover your love of second-hand clothing?
As one of the youngest in my family growing up, I always had "hand-me-downs," whether they were Catholic school uniforms my cousins outgrew or my favorite black leather jacket. But my first second-hand purchase was a vintage black, red, and gold chinoiserie-style blouse I bought on South Street in Philadelphia for only $6! When you're not shopping, what are you doing?
When I'm not shopping, I'm writing editing UptownMagazine.com. But when I'm not working, the magic happens. That's if you can call feeding my TV addiction magic. I also enjoy haunting street style blogs for inspiration, pinning on my Pinterest boards, and having cocktails with my girls.

And let's not forget the great deals you can score.

When you're not shopping, what are you doing?
When I’m not shopping I’m usually home watching Golden Girls wishing I had a few of Blanche’s handbags, or Dorothy's Chanel logo earrings. (I remember that episode so vividly.) And when I'm feeling frisky, I strap on my heels and head out to explore the city.
